1/6 plate of little girl holding a stuffed poodle dog toy. This was a very popular toy in the 1840's and 1850's. This is a Boston image and is in the style of Whipple or Southworth and Hawes. Lite blue tinting on dress. Posed in bright light with great depth and reflective quality.
1/6 plate daguerreotype of two sisters in matching dressing. I love the pose. Older sister is holding an 1840's wooden doll.

Pretty young lady on a Velocipede cabinet card from 1870.
This is a 1/6 plate daguerreotype of mother, daughter and her doll. They both have sausage curls and the little girl is wearing an off shoulder dress. The dressed boys and girls in these off shoulder dresses in the 1840’s and 1850’s.

Из игрушек удивила качеством исполнения лошадка у мальчика.Прямо как чучелко,и шерстка и глаза стеклянные...
