Старинные украшения и современные стилизации

В этом посте как старинные украшения- эпохи Виктории и Эдварда, так и современные копии и стилизации известных старых фирм. Что меня удивило в старинных- это большое количество брошей, браслетов и кулонов с волосами, причем локон или косичка на внешней стороне под стеклом!
Также много современных брошек в виде руки- как и викторианских, я их уже показывала.

Hobe et Cie was founded in Paris in 1887 by Jacques Hobe. His concept was to use fine jewelry techniques and non-precious materials to create jewelry for the middle class as well as for the wealthy.

Brought to America in 1915 by his son William, Hobe jewelry was popular not only with everyday customers, but also with the Hollywood stars and such luminaries as Flo Ziegfield. Inspired by period jewelry of the past, Hobe jewelry had an historic flavor

STARET is a company about whom little is known. Their jewelry was made in the early 1940's and they may have been located in Chicago. There have always been rumors that they were affiliated with Eisenberg, but this seems doubtful, even though the styles and sizes are somewhat similar. Their pieces are generally large and the settings are often pot metal.
