Figural Pincushion - Made of brass and velvet, this lady in Elizabe- than costume is quite elegant modelled as a cello, the lid transfer decorated with a courting couple on a pink ground, the reverse with a gentleman and a lady playing a lute, stamped made in France

Очень красиво. Меня всегда зачаровывает такое внимание к деталям, когда и для иголочки - такая вот красота! Это отдает какой-то такой размеренной неспешностью. Такое ощущение, что сейчас уже не до этого в большинстве случаев (да сам и не шьет почти никто, наверное, поэтому в швейных магазинах продаются такие убогие "шляпки" для иголок).

Бабочка-игольница сразила в самое сердце! Вот уже минут двадцать сижу любуюсь и представляю куда бы я поместила такое чудо, и как бы я ею с удовольствием пользовалась!
Надобно сделать что -то похожее. Может в виде обёмной вышивки из метализированных нитей и приспособить пластиковое тельце от бумажной бабочки из киндер-сюрприза... Вот сижу обдумываю, как это получше сконструюровать...
