Очень интересные старинные цирковые фотографии и смешная реклама с цирковыми сюжетами.
Cabinet portrait of Princess Tiny, Age 18 Years, Height 21 Inches, Weight 15lbs, by Wendt, Boonton, NJ. Princess Tiny's true name was May Trudgen. Frank Wendt was a 19th century photographer who photographed various performers for the major acts of the time including the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show and the PT Barnum Circus. Princess Tiny was a noted performer with PT Barnum for several years. Found in Wisconsin.
Boys in Tights
Madame Sherwood, Giant Lady. Height 5 feet 8 inches, 7 feet around the waist and 24 inches around the arm. Aged 31 years, weight 675 pounds.
This well worn CDV certainly has the appearance of having been passed around as a 19th century curiosity.
