Итальянские стулья "тет-а-тет" в виде павлинов.

Мебель-"Тет Тет", или буквально "голова к голове",- эти стулья или диванчики предназначались для интимных разговоров или, как писали сатирики, для обмена сплетнями, сохраняя при этом в поле зрения окружающую обстановку.

This is a very unusual quarter sawn oak bench that is done in the style referred to as a Tet A Tet Bench. Notice how there is two places for people to sit on this bench and instead of sitting in the traditional position of side by side looking out the same way, with this bench you still sit side by side but you are looking in opposite directions

Вот и я к тому, что в городской малогабаритке - бестолковка. Поэтому и не встречаются. К такой милой скамеечке должен прилагаться не менее милый особнячок этажа так в два с половиной.

А ар-декошная, кстати, смотрится настолько по-современно-типово-офисному, что даже боязно чуток.

В общем, если вдруг где всю эту радость, особнячки-стульчики с образом жизни в нагрузку, чисто случайно раздавать будут - я за Вами очередь занял.

Но саму конструкцию запомнил. Из двух нормальных кресел изображается легко и может пригодиться: личное пространство ограничивает, но без ненужного интима. К примеру, к чужой жене впритирку на диван не сядешь - может быть неверно истолковано - а вот так, боком - вполне, если вдруг что-то обговорить "не для всех" надо.
