Старинные театральные и цирковые афиши.

Конец 19- начало 20 века. Афиши Бродвейских театров, различных шоу, цирков Barnum and Bailey и Sells Brothers. Очень красивые и интересные. Многие шоу и атттракционы уже забыты. Перемещение во времени, левитация, трюки на воздушных шарах... А вот шоу гипнотизеров, как ни странно,-до сих пор польщуются успехом.

First name: Harry, Kellar (July 11, 1849–March 10, 1922) was an American magician who presented large stage shows during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Kellar was arguably the predecessor of Harry Houdini and the successor of Robert Heller. He was often referred to as the Dean of American Magicians and performed extensively on five continents. One of his most memorable stage illusions was the levitation of a girl advertised as the Levitation of Princess Karnack.

И снова - спасибо! :)))
Удивили водные шоу и велосипедист на воздушном шаре. Представляю как это сложно было, наверняка страховка если и была, то какая-нибудь чахлая.
А мотоциклистов в цилиндре, ездящих по вертикальной стенке, я в детстве еще застала. Где-то на юге гастролировали.
Еще клоун с гусями напомнил рассказ "Каштанка". Была у меня книжка с похожей иллюстрацией. :)))

мне почему-то навеяло грустные воспоминания моего детства, когда афиши кинотеатров рисовали художники. как же я любила их! каждая была шедевром в единственном экземпляре.

Еще цирковые вагончики и органы есть обалденные- по тэгу "цирк" и "музыкальные автоматы", а афиши потрясающие есть, надо еще поискать, хотя у меня уже прилично собрано.
