Отдых на море, фото 1900-1920-х годов. Пляжные и студийные фото с морским пейзажем на задниках.
На пляж ходили не загорать- загар был не в моде,а просто подышать морским воздухом и прогуляться. Купания были не столь популярны, для них были специальные купальни и пляжные домики, а людям вполне хватало пикника на свежем воздухе, в крайнем случае- могли помочить ноги.

Found image. This is one of the nicest studio shots of a beach scene that I have come across. It was photographed by C.Smyth of Skegness. The backdrop is beautifully painted and there is sand on the studio floor. On the back is written 'For Grandma from Eva and Cyril'.

Found image. This card was posted in 1922 in Herne Bay but I would have expected the photo to be earlier. The children wear distinctive smocks.

Например, интересная "Found family 2 at Paignton 1929" - семья на переднем плане и позади, в верхнем левом углу, мужчина и отвернувшаяся в сторону женщина. Спорили? Смотрели на кого-то? Флиртовали? Маленькая история, живущая своей жизнью в уголке фотографии.
